Folklore for Fun!

If legends & myths and tales & fables are no longer written, the world will lose valuable culture, whimsy, and one of the only ways to ethically lie. So, to do my part, here are mine.

The Tower Park Girls

The Tower Park Girls lived on quiet streets, in quiet buildings, on either side of a usually very quiet park. Tower Park, a fixture in its surrounding neighborhoods; only partially developed, with many natural patches of glade, woods, and wetland. A few calm streets wound throughout and ornate pavilions dotted up and down the green. A beautiful park, indeed.

Locals considered Tower Park to be blessed. It was considered so because of its acclaimed natural scenes, outstanding events, and the value it leant to its neighbors; Tower Park was certainly otherworldly. Who blessed the park? It depends who you ask. If you asked the Tower Park Girls, they would tell you they did.

Karina and Eve were the best of witches. Karina was a free spirit that found faith in everything and Eve was devourer of culture that believed every hidden crevasse in the world held something worth searching for. They were innately good, but they each held a mean streak in their back pockets. Many things connected the girls, but, more than anything, it was the belief in squeezing every ounce of magic out of life that tethered them. That, and their belief in each other.
